The following is a breakdown of the Impulse theme homepage sections used in our live demo shops for the Impulse, Dune, Terrain and Apothecary style presets. You can learn more about theme styles here.

Impulse
Details for the Impulse demo homepage
1. Header group
The Header group contains the top sections of the store, including the Announcement bar and Header. Use the Announcement bar for store-wide messages, promotions, shipping offers, or updates. Use the Header to display the logo, store navigation menu, and social media links.
Here, the Overlay header over home page setting is enabled, allowing the header to appear on top of the shoppable hero section.
2. Shoppable hero
The Shoppable hero displays a large image with clickable product hotspots. Use it to create a "shop the look" experience, highlight featured products, or showcase product bundles.
Here, we used an image that showcases three products and added hotspot buttons that link to each product page.
3. Collection list
The Collection list features selected collections in a grid. Use it to help customers browse categories, seasonal collections, or featured product groups.
4. Featured collection
The Featured collection displays products from a selected collection. Use it to highlight best sellers, new arrivals, sale products, or recommended items.
5. Promotional grid
The Promotional grid presents flexible promotional blocks using images, videos, products, collections, or banners. Use it for campaign callouts, sale promotions, collection highlights, or visual merchandising.
6. Featured collection
A second Featured collection can highlight another product group. Here, we used it to display new arrival products.
7. Video hero
The Video hero displays a large video banner with optional text and button links. Use it for brand storytelling, campaign launches, product videos, or high-impact homepage visuals.
8. Image with text
The Image with text section pairs images with supporting text. Use it to introduce a collection, explain product benefits, share brand details, or promote a specific feature.
9. Hero (optional slideshow)
The Hero (optional slideshow) is a great way to capture customers’ attention with eye-catching banner images and short text. Use it to encourage customers to engage with your store, learn more, or explore your products.
10. Image grid
The Image grid presents multiple images in a grid layout. Use it for lookbooks, category highlights, visual storytelling, or image-based navigation.
11. Text columns with icons
The Text columns with icons section displays short text blocks with icons. Use it for trust badges, shipping and returns details, product benefits, store values, or "how it works" steps.
12. Footer
The Footer appears at the bottom of the store. Use it for navigation links, policy pages, contact information, newsletter signup, social links, payment icons, and localization options.

The Image hotspots section displays an image with clickable hotspot buttons. Use it to point out product features, link to related products, or create an interactive "shop the look" experience.
10. Large image with text box
The Large image with text box presents a large image with an overlaid text box and optional button. Use it for brand storytelling, collection introductions, campaign banners, or key promotional messages.
11. Collection list
A second Collection list section can highlight another group of collections. Here, we used it to showcase four additional collections.
12. Promotional grid
Here, the Product block in the Promotional grid was used to feature a specific product.
13. Featured collection
A second Featured collection can highlight another product group. Here, we used it to display sweatshirt products.
14. Countdown
The Countdown section displays a timer with supporting text and optional button. Use it for sales, product launches, limited-time offers, event reminders, or campaign deadlines.
15. Promotional grid
Six Image blocks were used in the Promotional grid to showcase images that link to collections.
16. Footer
The Footer appears at the bottom of the store. Use it for navigation links, policy pages, contact information, newsletter signup, social links, payment icons, and localization options.
