The Blog page serves as a central landing page for your most recent posts. You can customize its template using the theme’s available features and settings.
Customize template settings
In the theme editor (Edit theme), open Blogs, then Default blog.
In the left sidebar, select Blog pages to open the template’s main settings. This section displays the list of blog posts shown on the page.
On desktop, blog posts are displayed in rows with the article image alternating on either side of the post details. On mobile, the image appears above each post.
Enable Show tag filter to display a tag dropdown beside the page title, allowing customers to filter blog posts by tag.
Shopify automatically creates an RSS feed for every blog, allowing customers to subscribe and receive updates when new posts are published. Turning on Show RSS link displays the link on the page.
Enable Show tags to include a compilation of the blog tags displayed at the top of each post. Tags can be added and managed when you edit a blog post in the Shopify admin.
Enable Show date to include the date published label for the post.
Enable Show comment count to display the total number of comments left for the post.
Enable Show author to include the publishing staff member's name for the post.
