To change the default image of the gift card, replace the highlighted codes in the gift_card.liquid file located on the code editor page.

Next, replace the codes that are highlighted above with the codes provided below, and then click on the "Save" button.

Next, upload an asset file name that matches the file name in the highlighted codes above.  

Make sure to duplicate your theme before editing the theme files so you can revert to it anytime.
