Are your themes compliant with the California Consumer Privacy Act?

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) took effect on January 1, 2020.
All information we can share about CCPA is included on this page. We’re not able to give specific or personalized legal advice about CCPA compliance.
In general, the CCPA applies to residents of California, USA. Because California has a large population, many businesses affected by the law have updated their privacy policies, terms of service, and business practices to cover the entire United States or even customers worldwide.
You may need to comply with the CCPA if your business has customers in California and meets one or more of these conditions:
Your business earns $25 million USD or more in annual revenue
You buy or sell personal information from 50,000 or more consumers or households
More than half of your revenue comes from selling consumers’ personal information
If you think your Shopify store might meet any of these criteria, you should speak with a licensed attorney for guidance on compliance.
Archetype Themes does not and cannot provide legal advice.
