Can I Get a Refund or Theme Exchange?
When it comes to choosing a theme for your Shopify store, we strongly recommend taking advantage of Shopify's generous unlimited free trial offer on any paid themes you may be considering. This trial period allows you to thoroughly test and ensure the theme meets your specific requirements before making a final purchase.
It's important to note that Shopify has a strict 'no refunds' policy, which is prominently displayed prior to confirming any theme purchase. This policy also includes 'exchanges' for other themes. Since the theme you now own is a digital file, it differs significantly from returning or exchanging an unopened product purchased from a store. There's no way to guarantee that a digital file hasn't been used or duplicated.
While you may no longer intend to use the theme, Shopify has determined that allowing refunds or exchanges could create a loophole too easy for others to exploit. You can send your refund requests to Shopify support, but we cannot predict how they will make their decision.
