How to set up the Product Prefix feature
The "Product prefix" feature allows you to insert unique and custom text above your product title on the product page and in the product grid. This new feature not only enhances the look and feel of your product page, but also provides you with an opportunity to convey important information about your product, such as special features, benefits, or promotions.
By incorporating this functionality into the product category settings, it has become much easier to set this feature up, without the need for any code customizations.
Steps to set up the Product Prefix feature:
Add a product metafield definition in the Shopify admin > Settings > Metafields and name it suffix
Under the namespace and key, type in archetype.prefix
Next, set the product metafield type to Single line text and then click Save.
On the product page > Products > Metafields, set the text value, then click Save.
On the Theme editor page > Theme settings > Products, enable the Product prefix feature, then click Save.
