Working with the Text Columns with Images section

Edited

The Text Columns with Images is very similar to the Text column with icons section, but with images instead of icons. This section allows you to display content in a structured grid format, combining text and images in a horizontal grid to showcase your image-based content effectively.

This section can be used for various purposes to enhance your store's user experience and convey information effectively, such as product features or benefits, service offerings, pricing plans, how It works, team members, membership benefits, and so on.

How to add the Text columns with Images section

You can follow the easy steps below to set up this section.

  • Login to your Theme editor and navigate to the page you would like to display this section.

  • You'll see a list of available sections on the left-hand side. Locate the Add section button and click on it

  • From the list of available sections, find and select Text Columns with Images.

  • You'll be presented with customization options, such as heading, text alignment, etc. Adjust these settings to match your store's style. These apply to all the columns.

Configuring the individual columns

Typically, you'll want to add multiple columns to this section.

Each column usually consists of:

Image: Select an image from the library - ensure your images have standard sizes for best results.

Heading: Enter the title or heading for the column.

Image shape: You can choose among the different shapes on the list to suit your design needs.

Image width: Set your preferred width.

Text: Add the content or description related to the heading.

Button label: This is the text to be shown on the button eg Shop now, Learn more, etc

Link: The link where the button leads to.

Customize each column as needed, adding titles, text, images, buttons, and so on.

Once you are satisfied with the setup and design, click Save to apply the changes.

Differences between the Text column with images section and Text column with icons

  • As the name suggests, the Text column with icons section only supports predefined icons while in the Text column with images section, you can add full custom images.

  • The Text column with icons section only has one button for the whole section, but the Text column with images section has the option to have a button and more configuration options for each column.
